Governance Code for Sport

Offaly Sports Partnership wishes to state that: -

  • it has completed the compliance process for the Governance Code for Sport as set out for its organisation type (type B); and
  • it now complies with the principles and practices of the Governance Code for Sport as ratified by Sport Ireland for a three-year period to November 2024

Child Safeguarding Statement 

Offaly Sports Partnership provides opportunities for young people to participate in various physical activity and sporting programmes and mass participation events through our work.

Offaly SP is committed to safeguarding children, and by working under the guidance of our Safeguarding Policies, our staff, both volunteers and employed, working with young people, throughout the organisation, seek to create a safe environment for young people to grow and develop.

Sports Inclusion Disability Charter

People with disabilities should have every opportunity to be active within their local communities.

This Charter, developed through consultations with people with disabilities, clearly outlines the five areas people with disabilities are asking all organisations to consider in making active and healthy lifestyles possible for them.

Offaly Sports Partnership have committed to the Sports Inclusion Disability Charter as outlined below.
