Offaly Sports Partnership with the support of Sport Ireland and other partner agencies have rolled out a number of targeted initiatives throughout the county.
Initiatives delivered include : -
- Bike week
- Dormant Account funded projects such as Community Sports Hubs; education & training programmes - Community Coaching and Sports / Youth Leadership; capital supports for the Sport Inclusion Development Programme; Girls Get Active; and Urban Outdoor Adventure
- European Week of Sport
- Get Ireland Walking
- Healthy Ireland
- Operation Transformation
- Physical activity and sport programmes for Adults and Older Adults; Disadvantaged communities; Employers; Ethnic minorities; Families; Primary schools; Secondary schools; the Unemployed; Women and Girls; and Young People
- Sport Inclusion Development Programme (supports to increase the participation of people with disabilities in sport and physical activity)
