Covid19 impact on sport grant scheme

The grant is designed to address the impact that Covid19 has had on organised sport in Co. Offaly; and to provide some small support to sporting organisations to alleviate some of the losses that they have incurred

The total fund available for the county is €25,000; with the level of grant assistance per successful application likely to be in the region of €500 and €1,000. The scheme will be based on identified needs. Offaly Sports Partnership will ensure that the investment is distributed fairly; and every effort will be made to ensure that the wider sports community benefits from this scheme.

Clubs are advised to contact Offaly Sports Partnership by email for further information on this scheme. Please note: -

  • only one application can be submitted per sports club / organisation
  • applications are only applicable to clubs / organisations based in Co Offaly committed to reopening in 2021 in accordance with the Government’s “Covid19 Resilience & Recovery 2021, the path ahead” guidance document
