Offaly County Council invites nominations for its Volunteer Group Awards 2022

 22 Apr 2022

Offaly County Council will host a Volunteer Group Awards recognition event on 19th May 2022 in the Bridge House Hotel to acknowledge the contribution of voluntary groups across the county in response to the pandemic.

This will be one of a number of events organised by Local Authorities and Volunteer Centres across the country during volunteer week and will feature an address by video link by Minister Joe O’Brien, Minister of State in the Department of Rural and Community Development.

An independent judging panel will decide the finalists in each category, and bursaries of €500 and €250 will be presented to the category winners and runners-up respectively on the night

The closing date for nominations is May 4th 2022 at 4pm and we would encourage you to nominate voluntary / community groups in your area who deserve to be recognised for the efforts during the pandemic using our online portal at https://submit.link/RY.  The form is very short and should take no more than 2 minutes to complete! (Please note groups can nominate themselves).
