Offaly's longest day challenge results are in...

Offaly’s Longest Day Challenge supported by Healthy Offaly and Offaly Sports Partnership ended on Saturday 20th June 2020. All across the county, persons of every age and fitness level undertook a daily physical activity from 1st – 20th June to get themselves active through walking, running, cycling, kayaking, etc.  

Dermot Egan, Healthy Ireland Coordinator stated, 

"We were ‘blown away’ by the interest in the challenge from right across the county. The dedication and hard work of all participants was awe inspiring.

We would like to offer our sincerest congratulations and to all those who entered and especially to those who were successful in each of the prize categories.

We would like to thank our independent judges who selected the winning entries and of course all those who entered."

Our longest day photography winners include Croghan GAA for "sunrise on the hill", the Clement family for "waterbabies" and the Malone family for "on yer bike".
