Today (Monday, August 11th), Sport Ireland is delighted to announce the return of HER Outdoors Week, which celebrates and encourages women and girls of all ages to get involved in outdoor activities and sports.

Offaly Sports Partnership would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Ballycommon GAA on their success in securing €5,000 for their club  under the Texaco Support for Sport 2025 scheme.

Bike Week takes place from the 11th to 19th May 2024. Offaly is hosting a number of events from our inaugural Grand Canal Greenway Relay on Saturday, 18th May to school / club cycle days and lunchtime cycles throughout the week Many thanks to the various cycling clubs across the county who are supporting Bike Week in Offaly. 

Activities run from Saturday May 10th to Sunday May 18th  

Bike Week is a celebration of active travel, sustainable transport and simply the joys of cycling a bike! “It’s Easy, It’s fun and it’s for everyone” 

Jude Feehan, Chair, Offaly Sports Partnership, this week announced that 24 clubs in Offaly are to benefit from its club development grant scheme 2025. The total fund available across this year’s grant scheme was €12,000.
